In Ramadan is a unique book as it's a children's picture book as well as a colouring book. Each page is fully coloured but with white shapes of the animals for children to draw and colour in. For example, on one page is a white owl shape where children can draw and colour their own owl (see picture below). This allows for children to be creative and makes the learning process fun.

There are 30 pages with 30 different animals on each page. Each animal has a characteristic that children can learn from. These are the 30 lessons on Ramadan, Children can do one page a day throughout Ramadan or they can do the whole lot together. 

Alternatively, if you like, you can leave the spaces blank. The shapes are pretty easy to tell which animals they are. And there's something quite charming about it. It leaves the imagination up to the reader to imagine what the animals may look like.
