Printable Good Deeds Cards For Kids Plus Free Colouring

How can you get your children to do more good deeds? By using these printable good deeds cards!  We all know how important doing good deeds is. Allah says in the Quran:
By the Time. Verily Man is in loss. Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual enjoining of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. (Quran, Al-Asr 103)

Teach your children to do as much good deed as they can because this is what counts on the Scale on Judgement Day. In fact, Allah tells us to race towards doing good deeds:
It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. (Quran, Al-Mu'minun 23:61)
What are some examples of righteous good deeds? Allah tells us:
Righteousness does not consist in whether you turn your faces towards the east or the west; what is righteous is to believe in God and the last day, and the angels, and the Book, and the messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practise regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which you have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and in times of war. Such as do so are people of truth. Such are the God-fearing. (Quran, Al-Baqarah 2:177)
Even the things that we think are little and are of no consequence, they will be counted as good deeds. Abu Dharr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not regard any good deed as insignificant, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

To help you help your children get into the habit of doing good deeds, I've made these good deeds cards. There are 18 good deeds to do. Print them onto card stock, laminate if you wish and cut them out. Each day, have your child draw a card from the deck and do the good deed as much as they can. The next day, draw from the deck again and so on.

Also included is the black and white version for colouring in. Use this if you don't want to print in colour but rather your child colour it in.

Colour in Cards

To start discussing doing good deeds with your children, use these two colouring sheets. As your child colour in each deed, you can talk about it. Or you can use it as a chart and let your child colour in the deed that they're doing for the day. Hang it up so they can see the different good deeds that they're doing.
