These are the top 5 favourite books that I've reviewed this year. If you would like to read more about each one then click on the title and it will take you to my reviews. Below, I explain why I like these books.
1. The Loving Series of Books
Published by Ali Gator
Why I love these set of books is that they teach children to love Allah, their parents and grandparents. It's also very easy to read, with 2 to 3 sentences per page it also makes it easy for even young children to understand.
2. Allah Loves Me More from the Iman Building Series
Published by Ali Gator
There are 4 sets in this series. This one tells the story of a little girl and her pet cat and how she learnt about how Allah loves her more than she loves her cat. What I like about this book is that it's not a rhyming book but it tells the story and gives the lesson in a straightforward way so that children around 5 to 6 years can understand.
3. Ramadan Encyclopedia
Self-published by Amna Farooq
This is a non-fiction book that contains information all about Ramadan for children between 5 to 7 years of age. Children will enjoy looking at the pictures while reading about Ramadan.
4. Purity and Prayer
Published by Prolance
This is a rhyming book about wudu and purifying ourselves for prayer. It's a good book to read to start discussing these things with your 5 to 7 year olds.
5. Nanni's Hijab
Published by Djarabi Kitabs Publishing
This is a story about Nanni and how she solved the problem of being bullied because she wears a hijab. It helps children 4 to 6 years to problem solve.
