Practice Makes Better
No one is born with a full knowledge of what to do so as children grow they are learning. The first time they learn something they may not get it right.
Parents must allow time for practice.
Choose a behaviour that you know your child needs to learn. It could be how to clean up, how to ask politely, how to use a normal voice when talking and not a loud voice or how to wash their hands.
Choose one and teach it to your child then let your child have a practice run. Over the next few days let your child practice doing it until it becomes a part of his or her behaviour. This is your challenge action for today.
