Eid Balloon Bunting

For an Eid activity, the children made a balloon shaped Eid bunting.

First they painted the balloon templates that I bought from the craft store.

After it dried, we pressed the balloon shapes out and the teachers wrote the letters H-A-P-P-Y-E-I-D (there weren't enough balloons for Eid Mubarak).

Using a string, my prekinders threaded the balloons together but with the toddlers, the teachers had to do it.

They are ready to be hung up!

If you want to do this but can't find the balloon templates then you can just use cardboard and trace circles onto it using a compass or a mug. Then use a hole punch to make the hole in the circles.
